"Musical Kitchen" at KALUSH EXPO® 2026
KALUSH EXPO® 2026 served as a platform not only for professional dialogue on manufacturing, efficiency, and business development, but also for forging new cross-sector partnerships aimed at community growth.
Ruslan Shmakov, Co-founder of RIO-TRANS, presented the "Musical Kitchen" social project—an initiative that bridges three key pillars: artistic creativity, community engagement, and enterprise resources.

Key Milestone:
A major highlight of the presentation was the official signing of a Memorandum of Partnership between "Musical Kitchen" and the Kalush City Council.
This agreement lays the groundwork for joint initiatives supporting local musicians and creative youth. Core collaboration areas include organizing community events, providing creative development pathways for children and young people, and leveraging grant funding and partner support.
"Musical Kitchen" is designed to be an accessible space where aspiring artists can learn, record original music, form bands, execute creative ideas, and showcase their work. A core tenet of the project is its strong social focus—ensuring opportunities for creative development remain accessible to all residents across the municipality.
For the Prykarpattia Industrial Cluster, this initiative exemplifies how modern commercial enterprise can actively contribute to urban development beyond economic metrics—by investing in a vibrant cultural ecosystem where people want to live, work, and innovate.
The event was organized under the "Enhanced Partnership for Sustainable Recovery" (EPSR) project, funded by the Government of Sweden through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine.
