???? Introducing the KALUSH EXPO® 2026 Speaker: "Energy of Growth and Resilience!" — Lesia Shkitsa

Lesia Shkitsa is the Director of the Institute of Engineering Mechanics and Robotics at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUNG).

At KALUSH EXPO® 2026, she will contribute to Block 4: "Human Capital," centered on the theme "Workforce and Resources for the Economy."

This block targets a critical factor directly driving manufacturing growth: aligning commercial workforce requirements with the educational pipeline to build a robust talent reserve for the regional economy.

Key Discussion Focus:
  • Workforce Integration: Transitioning graduates from universities, colleges, and vocational schools into industrial roles.
  • Academic-Industry Collaboration: Aligning technical curricula and training directly with enterprise demands.
  • Veteran Reintegration: Adapting workplaces to support and integrate military veterans.
  • Gender Diversity in STEM: Expanding opportunities for women in technical and engineering disciplines.
Engaging engineering education leadership in this dialogue ensures workforce development is approached not merely as a labor market shortage, but as a shared strategic initiative between business, academia, and local communities.

We invite you to KALUSH EXPO® 2026: "Energy of Growth and Resilience!"
